With an educational foundation from the Third University of Rome and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria, his postdoctoral work concentrated on advancing data-center networking technologies and traffic modeling.
Since joining TELUS in 2016, Dr. Albanese has played a pivotal role in evaluating and integrating cutting-edge technologies within the company. His responsibilities include the rigorous testing and implementation of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems and the development of hybrid, quantum-safe encryption methods.
