Will is the Head of Quantum Software at Agnostiq. He received his PhD in theoretical physics from Northeastern University under the supervision of Dima Krioukov, and subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Perimeter Institute in the quantum gravity group. He has published on a variety of topics, including lattice QCD, multiverse cosmology, causal set and spinfoam quantum gravity, discrete geometry, and machine learning.agnostiq a Platinum Sponsor of “Software, Algorithms and Programming” at IQT San Diego May 10-12

Topic 1: Software, Algorithms and Programming The practical implementation of quantum computing will require a mature quantum software industry. However, right now this sector is in a state of flux. This session will repeat the very popular CEO summit that began with IQT’s Fall Conference in 2021. We also consider how quantum computer languages will evolve. We also take a look at how quantum is being used to enable AI and machine learning.

Inside Quantum Technology San Diego is the first international conference devoted entirely to the QUANTUM ENTERPRISE. IQT Research has forecast that the great leap forward for quantum technology will take place as quantum computing and quantum safe environments are adopted in businesses and government organizations. As this happens the IT community and data communication firms will embrace the quantum paradigm and expenditures from the new QUANTUM ENTERPRISE sector will then take the great leap forward. Nine vertical topics encompassing 34 sessions from over 80 speakers will provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the state of the QUANTUM ENTERPRISE.

Sandra K. Helsel, Ph.D. has been researching and reporting on frontier technologies since 1990. She has her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona.
