Leonardo Midolo, Principal Investigator, Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, will speak on “Innovative Vendors: Hardware” at IQT The Hague March 13-15.
Leonardo Midolo is Associate Professor at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, and member of the Center for Hybrid Quantum Devices (Hy-Q). He is expert in design and nanofabrication of photonic quantum devices based on semiconductor quantum dots. He received his Ph.D. in quantum nanophotonics from Eindhoven University of Technology, in 2013. Since 2020, he holds an ERC starting grant to explore nanomechanical devices for controlling quantum photonic integrated circuits. He is Principal Investigator of the IFD project FIRE-Q, aimed at the development of single-photon technologies for quantum computing and quantum communication.
