The upcoming IQT The Hague conference, a pivotal event in the quantum technology calendar, is poised to feature Hugo Gelevert, Lead Ecosystem Development at Quantum Delta NL, as the moderator for a highly anticipated session on Quantum Accelerators during Day 3, session 9, panel 1. Gelevert, an experienced innovation orchestrator at TNO, has fostered multi-stakeholder collaborations that leverage quantum technology for societal advancement. His leadership in developing a vibrant quantum business ecosystem in the Netherlands has positioned him as a key figure in the quantum community.

As the Lead of Action Line 2 of the national Quantum Delta NL Programme, Gelevert’s efforts are to nurture an environment conducive to quantum innovation and entrepreneurship. His role includes chairing the Quantum Tech Transfer Team (Q3T), which brings together business developers from across the country to facilitate the commercialization of quantum technologies. This initiative is critical for translating quantum research into practical applications and ensuring the Netherlands remains at the forefront of the global quantum race.

In 2019, Gelevert co-authored the National Agenda on Quantum Technology, which laid the groundwork for the Quantum Delta NL programme. This document outlines the strategic vision for harnessing quantum technology’s potential to drive economic growth and societal benefit, highlighting the Netherlands’ ambition to be a quantum technology leader.

At the IQT The Hague conference, Gelevert’s moderation of the Quantum Accelerators panel promises to offer insightful discussions on the role of accelerators in supporting quantum startups and fostering innovation. Attendees can expect to delve into the challenges and opportunities of accelerating quantum technology development, focusing on how accelerators can bridge the gap between groundbreaking research and market-ready solutions.

IQT The Hague 2024 is the Netherlands’ fifth global conference and exhibition. The Hague is a Quantum Technology Event focusing on Quantum Networking and Quantum Security. Ten vertical topics encompassing more than 40 panel talks from over 100 speakers will provide attendees with a deep understanding of state-of-the-art developments of the future quantum internet and the current impact of quantum-safe technologies on cybersecurity and quantum computers.

The conference brings together corporate management, entrepreneurs, end users, technology providers, infrastructure partners, researchers, and investors working on current developments. IQT The Hague is organized by 3DR Holdings, IQT Research, QuTech, QIA (Quantum Internet Alliance), and Quantum Delta NL, who will bring leading organizations and professionals together in this important event. The April conference is “in-person” to ensure maximum networking and discussion at the Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre in The Hague.
