Giampaolo Panariello, CTO of Network Infrastructures in the South Europe region at Nokia, focusing on Security, Quantum-Safe Networks, and Non-Terrestrial Networks, will speak at IQT THe Hague conference in April 2024. Panariello’s exceptional background combines a robust foundation in electronic engineering with a doctorate from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and a comprehensive understanding of business administration through his master’s degree. His career trajectory from pioneering work in the aerospace industry, specifically designing the payload of Globalstar satellites for LEO Satellite Constellations, to significant contributions in the telecommunications industry at Siemens and later Nokia showcases a versatile and innovative professional journey.

Panariello’s role at Nokia, especially his focus on Quantum-Safe Networks, places him at the forefront of efforts to secure telecommunications infrastructure against the emerging threats posed by quantum computing. His work developing Non-Terrestrial Networks further illustrates a forward-thinking approach to connectivity, leveraging novel infrastructures to enhance network reliability and coverage.
