Georges-Olivier Reymond, CEO, PASQAL, will speak on “Quantum Processor Executive Roundtable” at IQT-San Diego Quantum Enterprise
(IQT-SanDiego) Georges-Olivier Reymond, CEO, PASQAL, will speak on the “Quantum Processor Executive Roundtable” May 10 at 10:05 am at IQT-San Diego Quantum Enterprise.
Reymond’s biography: I co-founded Pasqal, the first French hardware company that develops Quantum Computing, in March 2019. My vision was to leverage the technology developed for more than ten years at Institut d’Optique in Palaiseau (France) to build Quantum Processing Units based on neutral atoms ordered in large 2D arrays. Today this technology is at the very heart of Pasqal. I hold a Ph.D. in quantum optics on trapping single atoms with optical tweezers. After defending my thesis, I moved toward industry, where I developed high-tech products based on optical technologies, in diverse fields such as biotechnology, defense, or semiconducting.”
Inside Quantum Technology San Diego is the first international conference devoted entirely to the QUANTUM ENTERPRISE. IQT Research has forecast that the great leap forward for quantum technology will take place as quantum computing and quantum safe environments are adopted in businesses and government organizations. As this happens the IT community and data communication firms will embrace the quantum paradigm and expenditures from the new QUANTUM ENTERPRISE sector will then take the great leap forward. Nine vertical topics encompassing 34 sessions from over 80 speakers will provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the state of the QUANTUM ENTERPRISE.
Sandra K. Helsel, Ph.D. has been researching and reporting on frontier technologies since 1990. She has her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona.
