Creotech Instruments S.A. specializes in quantum experiment control devices

By Team Creotech posted 10 Mar 2023

Creotech Instruments S.A. is a deep tech company from Poland that specializes, among others, in the development and manufacturing of quantum experiment control devices based on the Sinara hardware and ARTIQ open software.

Sinara / ARTIQ is a modular and scalable ecosystem designed for precise control and measurement of quantum systems, in particular those based on trapped ions or cold atoms, which is crucial for the advancement of quantum technologies.

The Sinara / ARTIQ ecosystem provides users with an unparalleled level of control over their experiments. The system is designed to be modular, which means that users can easily add or remove components as needed. This flexibility makes it easy to customize the system to meet the specific requirements of each experiment, which is relevant for optimizing control functionalities and parameters.

One of the key advantages of Sinara / ARTIQ is scalability. The system can be easily expanded to accommodate larger and more complex experiments, making it ideal for researchers working on cutting-edge projects. This scalability also makes it cost-effective, as users can start with a smaller system and gradually expand it over time as their needs evolve.

In addition to its advanced control and measurement capabilities, the Sinara hardware also supports custom modifications. Creotech S.A. works closely with its customers to understand their unique needs and requirements, and then develops custom modifications to meet those needs. This level of customization is essential for researchers who are working on groundbreaking projects that require specialized equipment.

The company has already achieved significant success in this area, with its products being used by researchers and academic institutions around the world. This success is a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence and its ability to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of its customers.

Leading and pioneering role of Creotech in quantum technologies domain has been acclaimed by the European Commission by awarding Creotech the leading role in a EuroQCI project for the development of quantum key distribution systems. Creotech is also participating in the EuroHPC JU project for setting up a quantum computer in Poznań in Poland, and in the EC FPA project for a large quantum computer for Europe, where a 100 qubit and a 1000 qubit quantum computer are scheduled to be developed by the end of 2025 and 2029, respectively.

As one of the leading companies in the field, Creotech Instruments S.A. is at the forefront of the development of these devices, working closely with researchers and academic institutions including to design and create the most advanced and effective control systems possible. The R&D work on electronics at Creotech is not only important for the development of quantum technologies, but also has the potential to revolutionize many other areas of science and industry, including accelerator facilities control, astronomical observations, telecommunications and energy distribution networks.
