Julian Chosson Julien Chosson; Lead; Québec-IBM Discovery Accelerator; will speak at IQT Vancouver Pacific Rim on “Quantum Technology in Canada”

Julien Chosson locally leads the Québec-IBM Discovery accelerator which aims to leverage the power of bits, qubits and neurons to accelerate science. The strategic partnership with Québec is focused on sustainability and climate and the IBM Quantum System One deployed in Canada is the first one dedicated to Sustainability in the world. Julien joined IBM after selling his start-up to ESG Dover. With his team, he developed a foundation model specialized for the circular economy. Such AI tool was unlocking the creation of new data to inform and impact how the future infrastructures to manage materials to recycle would be built. Leading this company was an opportunity to engage with eminent researchers and grow his knowledge around AI & Sustainability challenges that our society faces. Julien holds an MBA from EDHEC Business School in France.
