In April 2024, John Prisco, a seasoned executive with a 30-year track record of driving revenue growth, achieving operational excellence, and guiding companies to successful exits, will speak at IQT The Hague in the Netherlands. Prisco’s extensive experience in telecommunications, cybersecurity, and quantum physics, along with his position as President and CEO of Safe Quantum Inc., make him an authoritative voice on the future of secure key exchange and encryption in the era of quantum computing.

Prisco’s career has spanned various high-tech fields, beginning with the founding of Penn Access, a competitive local access carrier in Pittsburgh. His role as President and CEO of Safe Quantum Inc., made him a pioneer in packet-based communication, further establishing his credentials in the telecommunications industry. His leadership at eLink Communications and Ridgeway Systems & Software demonstrated his ability to navigate and innovate within the cybersecurity space.

Perhaps most notably, Prisco’s tenure as CEO of Quantum Xchange showcased his foresight in recognizing the potential of quantum technologies to revolutionize secure communications. His consulting work for Toshiba in Japan, Europe, and the United States represents a continuation of his efforts to promote quantum key distribution and quantum internet technologies, highlighting his commitment to advancing quantum security solutions.

Prisco’s academic background, with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Quantum Optics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, gives him a solid foundation in the scientific principles underlying his work. This blend of technical expertise and business acumen positions Prisco as a leader in the intersection of quantum technology and cybersecurity.

At the IQT The Hague conference, Prisco is expected to share his insights into the emerging trends in quantum computing, secure key exchange, and encryption technologies, using his work at Safe Quantum Inc. as an example. His presentation will likely cover the practical challenges and opportunities of implementing quantum-safe solutions, the importance of developing robust security measures in anticipation of quantum computing advancements, and the role of industry collaboration in fostering a secure quantum future.

IQT The Hague 2024 is the Netherlands’ fifth global conference and exhibition. The Hague is a Quantum Technology Event focusing on Quantum Networking and Quantum Security.
