Blue: The Quantum Front

(AirForce.mil) The Air Force is making strides within quantum research, bringing “Q-Day” to fruition sooner. Q-Day, or the day all Airmen have access to quantum technology, is the ultimate goal. The Air Force Research Laboratory is leading the way into the quantum frontier.
This promotional YouTube video from the Air Force describes the rationale for the quantum race taking place among the world’s militaries–with special attention to China’s “huge strides in quantum research.”
Until now, research has depended on classical physics. The new research depends on quantum physics.
