Q-CTRL quantum sensing partnership with USGS could enable a ‘game-changing capability’

Q-CTRL recently announced a collaboration with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), which the partners said will influence future geophysical resource exploration and environmental monitoring. It’s also a big step for Q-CTRL’s efforts to build up the company’s nascent quantum sensing business. In the days following that mid-January announcement, Q-CTRL founder and CEO Michael Biercuk and Jonathan Stock, Director of the USGS National Innovation Center, responded to questions from IQT PRO about the significance of the new arrangement to each of their organizations.
