Objectivity and Multiverse aim to bring quantum solutions to EMEA firms

By Dan O'Shea posted 31 Aug 2022

For quantum technology companies to be successful in the corporate enterprise market, they are going to need to make friends with the companies that are already there, partnering, for example, with IT solutions providers that have forged their own strong relationships with enterprise clients.

That is what Multiverse Computing has been up to this week, announcing a partnership with Objectivity, an IT solutions provider based in the UK, to bring quantum computing applications to companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The companies will offer up the latest version of Multiverse’s Singularity middleware to enterprises, initially focusing on supporting quantum-based applications in finance, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, retail and additional sectors. Objectivity is equipped to help Multiverse cast its net far and wide into those sectors, as the 31-year-old company has more than 1,000 IT professionals and branches in the UK, Poland, Germany, and Mauritius.

“We recognized some time ago that quantum was becoming a significant emerging technology for our clients,” said Rob Helle, founder and CEO of Objectivity. “We researched the industry and found that Multiverse provided the expertise we needed to help our customers understand quantum computing and implement near-term solutions.”

Multiverse is no stranger to partnerships, having just in the month of August alone announced relationships with Bosch, BASF and IQM.

Dan O’Shea has covered telecommunications and related topics including semiconductors, sensors, retail systems, digital payments and quantum computing/technology for over 25 years.
