FTQC Applications in Cancer Treatment
For your consideration: Q-DRAGON
The Quantum Dragon read “The Q-MONSTAR consortium: advancing fault-tolerant quantum computing for precision oncology” and thanks PsiQuantum for supporting the endeavor, but he can’t help wishing it was named Q-DRAGON: Quantum Data-driven Real-time Acceleration for Genomic and Oncology Networks.

Mythos, PQC Transitions, and Castles
Jaime Gómez García illustrated the link between Mythos and PQC transitions, and I can’t help but think that behind every fracturing castle wall there should be a fire-breathing red dragon. You know who else thinks that? Every fire-breathing red dragon. This link may require a LinkedIn account.
Quantum-Safe Ransomware
Dan Goodin of Ars Technica let us know that we now have quantum-safe ransomware. Ransomware is when someone encrypts your data and won’t decrypt it until you pay a ransom. He explains why PQC is actually unnecessary for ransomware, which means that even ransomware is getting in on the hype.
$200,000 in Total Prize Money
Dr. Anastasia Marchenkova shared The Quantum Insider’s 2026 Global Quantum + AI Challenge, which features problem statements from Airbus, Cleveland Clinic, E.ON, HSBC, and Volkswagen Group. Finding collaborators is what LinkedIn’s Quantum Projects group is intended for. This link may require a LinkedIn account.

A Nightmare at the Threshold
The Quantum Dragon had a nightmare about trying to rescue people from drowning. At a minimum, he had to help them keep their heads above the water. What could that possibly mean?
The Quantum Dragon sucks!
If you don’t want to read “A Nightmare at the Threshold,” Dr. Tom Dvir of Quantum Machines is happy to provide you with this pre-recorded demo. But if you don’t like to read my writing, I guess you’re not reading this either? Anyway, this link may require a LinkedIn account.
“the ultimate wisdom from the Quantum Dragon”
A wise man once said, “flattery will get you everywhere.” Come to think of it, that was my father. Anyway, such flattery from Dr. Thomas Ehmer of the Entangled Health Podcast will at least get him into The Quantum Dragon. This link may require a LinkedIn account.

The Quantum Chapel
Thanks to The Quantum Dragon’s godfather, Dr. Bob Sutor, for sharing an image of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center’s “quantum chapel,” which certainly looks the part with its high ceilings and stained-glass windows. This link may require a LinkedIn account.
What is quantum magnonics?
Thanks to Bluefors for sharing this video of Prof. Jing Xu of the University of Central Florida’s Experimental Quantum Magnetics Laboratory (EQMag Lab). He and his team are hoping that magnons will help different modalities play nicely with each other. This link may require a LinkedIn account.

Really? They’re all awesome?
I’m not going to share a list of links to “awesome quantum software,” because subscribers to The Premium Quantum Dragon know very well that they’re definitely not all awesome. Quite the contrary. So, if you should come across that claim, save yourself some time and close that browser tab.
