Natural Language Quantum Computing

"Simulate this molecule for me while I go freshen my coffee."

Natural Language Quantum Computing

My exact prompts were more along the lines of “simulate benzene C6H6 with QPE,” but my point is that a single sentence can prompt Classiq Quantum AI to design and classically emulate a quantum circuit, outputting results that check out given the necessary simplifications with today’s resources. Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

SWAP Operations as a Game of Telephone

I know you’re already subscribed to Dr. Bob Sutor and his Sutor Group, and that you listen intently to every word, as I do, but on the remote possibility that you missed this analogy, I need to share this episode of his new podcast. His analogy repertoire has been expanding recently, and I don’t recall hearing this one before.

IQT Nordics 2026: Quantum Technology in a Changing World

The program committee for IQT Nordics 2026 has been formed. The 4th Annual IQT Nordics will take place from June 22-24, 2026, in Oslo, Norway, and will feature….

The Adventures of Q-Man

The Economist largely dropped the ball with this one. The comic is great, which is why I’m sharing this, but there’s no description or link to anything substantive. That said, Q-Man, which may or may not be his actual name, deserves to become a thing. This link may require a Twitter account.

How to buy a quantum computer?

I wouldn’t include this if it was exclusively an IQM sales pitch. But in addition to Sylwia Barthel de Weydenthal and Eric Mansfield of IQM, this webinar, thanks to Dr. Jorge Echavarria of the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ), will also include the perspective of an organization that has purchased multiple quantum computers.

I follow Dr. Hugh Britt.

With the disclaimer that I don’t spend much time on Twitter — I’m merely browsing for newsletter content — I’m finding myself agreeing with one account’s content more than probably any other. So, if you haven’t abandoned X, check this out, and see if you agree with my agreement. This link may require a Twitter account.

Dr. Anastasia Marchenkova is quantum-safe.

Dr. Marchenkova seems happy with American Binary’s PQC VPN. Might you be too? It looks like it’ll be released in December. This link may require a Twitter account.

Quantum Noise Detector

Alan Ho and Prof. Michael Biercuk inspired the Resuscitated Quantum Bullshit Detector, but the original(?) has resurfaced on Bluesky. It’s back to reposting a simple “bullshit” or “not bullshit,” so The Quantum Dragon will continue to monitor for challenges, controversies, and debates under this new name from Dr. Bob Sutor.
