(CreativeDestruction) The Quantum Stream at Creative Destruction Lab-Toronto brings together entrepreneurs, investors, leading scientists in quantum technologies, and quantum hardware vendors (D-Wave Systems, IBM Q, Rigetti Computing, and Xanadu) to build ventures in the nascent domain of quantum computing, machine learning, optimization, sensing and other applications of quantum technologies. Participants are eligible to receive pre-seed investment from a prominent venture capital firm, office space in downtown Toronto, and an intensive 6-week technical quantum bootcamp in Toronto from industry and academic leaders in quantum computing and machine learning.
Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is now partnering with the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business for its next North American location, CDL-Atlanta. The Georgia Institute of Technology, also known as Georgia Tech, is one of the world’s leading research universities, globally recognized for its expertise in innovation and technology.
Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), a seed-stage program for massively scalable science- and tech-based companies, is partnering with HEC Paris for its second European location, CDL-Paris.
The nine-month CDL program employs an objectives-based mentoring process to enhance the performance of technical founders who learn from the insights of experienced entrepreneurs, with the goal of maximizing equity-value creation. The program combines 4 elements to help companies transition from science projects to scalable and financeable companies.
Founded in 2012 by Professor Ajay Agrawal at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, CDL operates out of five universities across Canada and one in Europe at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School. Twenty-five companies will be accepted in the first cohort at CDL-Paris in 2020.
