Young Wuk Lee, Vice President, KT, will speak on “National Programs and Initiatives in Quantum Communications in South Korea” at IQT The Hague March 13-15.
Young Wuk Lee was born in Ulsan, South Korea, on 10th Oct 1967. He received B.S and M.S degrees from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea in 1989 and 1991, both in physics. He also received Ph.D in physics from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon Korea in 2002.Since 1993, he joined KT as a member of technical Staff in Network R&D Laboratory, where he worked on Fiber Optic Monitoring System and Ultra Hogh Capacity long haul transmission System Development. During his enrollment in KT Network R&D Laboratory he carried out various projects in optical communication network technologies, its design and managment. Since 2011 he took charge of depolying SDN based automatic network controll and AI based umanned management system in all domain of the network infra from physical layer to service layer.
Dr. Lee currently works on Next generation Outsideplant design and Quantum Infra Technologies as a Director of Next Biz Core Infra TF in Infra DX Laboratory.
