Siobhan Stables, Managing Director, Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo will speak on “Quantum Hubs in Canada” at IQT Canada 2023.
Siobhan Stables is the Managing Director of the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC). IQC is a world-leading multidisciplinary quantum centre that plays a critical role in Waterloo’s Quantum Valley. It connects researchers, entrepreneurs, companies, and investors, advancing the next generation of transformational technologies and training Canada’s quantum workforce. Before joining IQC, Siobhan worked with public and private sector organizations and has a long history of providing strategic planning services and conducting quantitative and qualitative research. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Schulich School of Business, York University.

IQT Canada 2023 is the tenth global conference and exhibition in the highly successful Inside Quantum Technology series.
This event is Canada’s Quantum Computing Event, focusing on Ecosystems for Quantum Readiness. A number of vertical topics encompassing more than 30 panels and talks from over 80 speakers will provide attendees with a deep understanding on state-of-the-art developments of the future quantum ecosystems as well as the current impact of quantum computing technologies.
The conference brings together corporate management, entrepreneurs, end users, technology providers, infrastructure partners, researchers and investors who are working on the current future developments of the quantum ecosystem. IQT Canada is organized by 3DR Holdings, IQT Research, INTRIQ, and the Governments of both Canada and Quebec. The June conference will be an “in-person” event to ensure maximum networking and discussion and will take place at Centre Mont-Royal in Montréal (Québec), Canada.
