Ryan McKenney, Attorney, Orrick’s Cyber, Privacy & Data Innovation Practice Group, and Co-founder and Vice Chair, Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C’s) Law Committee will speak on How Will Quantum Computers Impact Cybersecurity and Privacy? at IQT Quantum Security in New York City, October 25-27.
Ryan McKenney is a an attorney in Orrick’s Cyber, Privacy & Data Innovation practice group and is the co-founder and Vice Chair of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C’s) Law Committee. His practice focuses on the intersection of technology, privacy, and data security, with particular experience in emerging policy issues in quantum computing and artificial intelligence. Ryan helps clients assess and mitigate the legal, regulatory, and ethical risks associated with the development and use of quantum technologies, AI and Machine Learning, blockchain, and other emerging technologies. He identifies and mitigates risks during mergers and acquisitions and helps clients create privacy programs and policies to navigate the patchwork of global laws impacting privacy and cybersecurity and to reduce the risk of cybersecurity incidents.

IQT Quantum Cybersecurity New York October 25-27 is the first international conference and exhibition focused on QUANTUM CYBERSECURITY. Nine vertical topics encompassing more than 40 panels and talks, curated by IQT Research’s Lawrence Gasman, will provide attendees with a deep understanding on the current impact of quantum technology on cybersecurity and how it will evolve.
