Robert Bedington, Co-Founder & CTO, SpeQtral; will speak on “Enabling Global Quantum Communications with Satellites” at IQT The Hague March 13-15.
Dr. Robert Bedington is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of SpeQtral.Dr. Bedington oversees the strategy and development of SpeQtral’s products and solutions globally. With over 12 years in space instrument development, Dr. Bedington is focused on innovation to secure and future-proof customers’ communication infrastructures for the quantum era.Before co-founding SpeQtral, Dr. Bedington served as senior research fellow at the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore (NUS), where he was the satellite team lead for the SpooQy-1 CubeSat mission. Prior to NUS, Dr. Bedington was a JSPS fellow at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, where he researched the miniaturisation of satellite instrumentation for plasma analysis.Dr. Bedington earned a master’s degree in physics from Durham University and a PhD in Instrument Science from University College London. In 2019, he was named among the Top 35 Innovators Under 35 in Asia-Pacific by MIT Technology Review.

IQT The Hague 2023 is the eighth global conference and exhibition in the highly successful Inside Quantum Technology series.
