Reza Azarderakhsh, Founder and President, PQSecure Technologies; Has Agreed to Speak On “Quantum Technology, 5G and the Telephone Industry” at IQT-NYC Online

(IQT-NYC) Reza Azarderakhsh, Founder and President, PQSecure Technologies; has agreed to speak on Panel 1: “Quantum Technology, 5G and the Telephone Industry” at IQT-NYC Online. Dr. Reza Azarderakhsh is the founder and president of a startup company PQSecure Technologies. The company’s main focus is on the design, evaluation, and implementations of pre- and post-quantum cryptographic solutions in small embedded and IoT devices. Dr. Azarderakhsh is leading the SIKE (one of the NIST round 2 candidates for post-quantum cryptography) for real-world hardware/software applications. PQSecure is currently funded through a SBIR awards from National Science Foundation. Dr. Azarderakhsh has several experience transferring science/applied research from his lab, where he is a professor and commercialize for real-world use in high-tech industry. Dr. Azarderakhsh received his PhD from Western University and was postdoctoral fellow for two years in the center for applied cryptographic research at University of Waterloo. His current research has been funded through NSF, NIST, DoD, and Texas Instruments. He was a presenter on at ARM TechCon 2018, RSA Conference 2018, ICMC 2018, about the awareness of quantum-safe cryptography. Dr. Azarderakhsh is also an assistant professor at computer engineering department at FAU and is a I-SENSE fellow working on the security of IoT sensors.
