Michel Pioro-Ladrière, Director of Partnerships and Strategy, Nord Quantique, will speak at IQT Canada.
Michel Pioro-Ladrière is Director of Partnerships and Strategy at Nord Quantique, a quantum computing company that grew out of his laboratory within the innovation ecosystem he helped create in Sherbrooke (Québec, Canada). Previously, he was Co-Scientific Director of the Institut quantique of the Université de Sherbrooke, holder of the Chair for the Deployment of Quantum Technologies, Scientific Director of Quantum Sherbrooke (one of the first Innovation Zones designated by the Government of Québec) and Founding Director of the Bachelor in Quantum Information Sciences program at the Université de Sherbrooke. His background is in physics, including a PhD in partnership with the National Research Council of Canada and a postdoc at the NTT Basic Research Laboratories in Japan.

IQT Canada 2023 is the tenth global conference and exhibition in the highly successful Inside Quantum Technology series.

This event is Canada’s Quantum Computing Event, focusing on Ecosystems for Quantum Readiness. A number of vertical topics encompassing more than 30 panels and talks from over 80 speakers will provide attendees with a deep understanding on state-of-the-art developments of the future quantum ecosystems as well as the current impact of quantum computing technologies.
The conference brings together corporate management, entrepreneurs, end users, technology providers, infrastructure partners, researchers and investors who are working on the current future developments of the quantum ecosystem. IQT Canada is organized by 3DR Holdings, IQT Research, INTRIQ, and the Governments of both Canada and Quebec. The June conference will be an “in-person” event to ensure maximum networking and discussion and will take place at Centre Mont-Royal in Montréal (Québec), Canada.

Sandra K. Helsel, Ph.D. has been researching and reporting on frontier technologies since 1990.  She has her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona.
