(Business.SKorea) KT Corp. announced that it led global discussions on standardization of quantum cryptographic telecommunications at a recent International Telecommunication Union-T (ITU-T) meeting held in Geneva.
In September, the ITU established the quantum communication focus group or the FG QIT4N to provide a collaborative platform for pre-standardization aspects of quantum information technology for networks. KT’s participation in the focus group is expected to stimulate technological development in this new field.
