In her current role, as founder/CEO of award-winning cybersecurity comparison website/marketplace www.ProtectBox.com, which is making cybersecurity easy for small & medium businesses (SMBs), Kiran is not only making buying cybersecurity quick, simple & affordable but also challenging the norms of how SMBs engage with cybersecurity – trusting it again. Also changing the norms of who can work in cybersecurity. Resulting in them winning 5 Awards & finalist in 25+ other awards with coverage in The Times, Telegraph, Wired amongst 20+ others. This is Kiran’s 3rd start-up bringing government, industry and SMBs together.
Prior to this she has held various careers across government, industry (JPMorgan Chase, Cazenove, 3i, Lonmin and Brunswick Group amongst others), not-for-profits and consulted for several start-ups. This included promoting the UK’s cyber security strategy globally (including standards such as CyberEssentials) & the #WeProtect (children online) Summit. As well as Ministerial Reviews on critical national infrastructure resilience & machine learning digital redaction.
