IQT-NY Announces Rachele Cocks, Principal Investigator for L3Harris Technologies to Speak: “New Quantum Sensor Technologies and Materials” on Apr 2

(IQT-NYC) IQT News is continuing to introduce speakers for the upcoming IQT-NYC event “The Future of Quantum Computing, Quantum Networking and Quantum Sensors” April 2-3, 2020 to acquaint our readers with the topics and expertise represented on the program. Today, we are announcing that Rachele Cocks, Principal Investigator for L3Harris Technologies will speak on Panel 1: “New quantum sensor technologies and materials” at 2:05 on April 2. Rachele Cocks has been a Principal Investigator for various research and development projects in the Space and Airborne Systems division of L3Harris Technologies. As a Systems Engineering Group Lead, she manages a team of scientists who support multiple internal research and development projects including CubeSat systems, detector physics and design, and the development of other innovative technologies. Rachele also leads part of L3Harris’s University relations. Prior to joining L3Harris Technologies, Rachele held various roles in industry primarily focused in research and development. Rachele is a prolific inventor having over 30 patents including, most recently awarded “On-orbit calibration system and associated control”. Rachele holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago; a Masters of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; an MBA from Indiana University; a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Purdue University; Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and is currently completing her Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Mississippi State and Masters in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona.
