Gopal Karemore, Director, Digital & Research Intelligence, Novo Nordisk, will speak at IQT Nordics.
Gopal Karemore is a director at the digital research & intelligence wing of Novo Nordisk A/S in Denmark. He has PhD in computer science from Univ. of Copenhagen with 14+ years of experience in data science, statistics, modelling, machine learning, visualisation, and quantum computing within early research, preclinical, and clinical pharmaceutical settings. He co-authored 35+ research articles published in high-impact scientific journals, e.g. Nature, iScience, IEEE, and was involved in shaping strategic initiatives and business development within pharmaceutical R&D processes. Before Novo Nordisk, he worked with various industries such as Philips, GE research, Siemens Corporate Research, University of Pennsylvania, Spanish National Center for Cardiovascular Research and Novo Nordisk Foundation Centers for Protein Research & Stem Cell Biology.

The conference will provide the participants with detailed insights into the rapidly expanding Nordic quantum ecosystem as well as an update on the state-of-the-art of quantum technologies in relation to use cases and applications. This conference will be an annual event with venues rotating between the Nordic countries. The first event, IQT Nordics 2023, will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from June 6th to 8th. In 2024, the conference will be held in Helsinki, Finland.

 

Sandra K. Helsel, Ph.D. has been researching and reporting on frontier technologies since 1990.  She has her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona.
